On the 5th of January 2014, I lost my mother after two years of her being ill with cancer. It’s probably the toughest thing I’ve had to deal with continuously and speaking about it has been even harder.
In this episode I’ve decided to share about the journey & some of what I’ve learnt in the hopes that it can provide comfort to someone else and something to relate to, but also that it continues the much needed conversation around loss & grief and provides insight for those who need it.
I share about the period of her illness and what that was like mentally as well as familiarising myself with the period of mourning & grief.
